I have Oblivion on the 360 and I want to know if the 360 can even handle Oblivion on fully maxed out settings.

i've been told it can look way better on a top-line pc, but i've played Obivion HD 1080i on 360 without any issues what so ever. just make sure it's not in a closed cabinet.

the 360's Xenos is one of the most powerful single GPUs available now. In HD oblivion is glorious.

That being said it cetainly could not compete with a high-end multi gpu gaming pc in terms of rendering power, but how many people have the money for that? Also, Xenos (and PS3's RSX) are limited by memory bandwidth. Both have memory running at 700mhz on a 128-bit bus (less than half of the bandwidth for a highend pc gpu). For a TV thats fine, but displaying anything higher than 720p/1080i really isnt going to work. So hooking it up to a high rez monitor wont give you same results as a high end pc.

All and all, 360 may not compete with the ultra highend pc, but the price/performance, particularly in Oblivion is unbeatable.

OMG

This question is so utterly stupid; I gotta puke.

You got it and yet you don't know if your stupid box can handle it? Why the hell do you ask? Wanna know what fps-count is good for a shit-box? Why did you buy that thing in the first place? GO. And upgrade your xboxxyshittygpu. Whine! And just STFU!

Sorry I'm being harsh here. but you really should consider some seconds before buying a console. Like: What do I want? What do I get for the buck? And MOST IMPORTANT: No one cares if you cry after you bought it...

You thought of these points? no?

AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!

(please all of you: forgive me for this rant; but it had to be said.)
