I know there is no way you can get an Nvidia card running with both AA and HDR enables… Or there used to be, that’s why Half Life 2 never had HDR when it was released. Have you tried enabling AA driver side?

For a start, X1900GT is an ATI RADEON card. Nvidia cards still do not allow both to be enabled simultaneously.
The said way to make both HDR and AA work together was to disable "Let Application decide" under AA in Catalyst Control Centre, and select HDR when running Oblivion.
But I haven't seen the sharper detail due to AA. I have run Oblivion thrice:
1)with HDR alone
2)with AA alone
3)with HDR enabled in Oblivion and AA enabled in Catalyst(the so-called working method)
and I have noticed the difference.
Here is the error message when I try to apply the Chuck patch:
"INF error
Video driver not found
Try to setup your display adaptor with a standard VGA driver before running setup"
Is there not even one fella in this entire forum that has applied the Chuck patch?
