i cant make up my mind...the Gigabyte GA-8IEXP or the SOYO P4S DRAGON ULTRA? What do you all think?

I like the gigabyte one because its crazy list of features and its stability and its ability to overclock really well. But the thing i dont like is the support for only ddr266 with that intel chipset.

With the Soyo one i get the ddr333 support and alot of the same features, but not all. i can get the soyo for 142 and the gigabyte one for 143, so price is not a decision point.

I plan on just getting a p4 1.6a and over clocking it. In more than one place ive scene people get it up to 2.5ghz easily...i dont plan on getting it that high...but im going yo try.

What do you all think is the best in performance?

Good luck. I spent many hours trying to get a Soyo P4 Dragon Ultra to work and was never succesful. The Sound and RAID were not evident an any time. Tech support did not read my msg sending me a reply with what was on the Web.

I returned the board.

deja vu? I've built 2 Dragon Ultras and both have been rock solid.

It's always the one thing you never suspected.

Just finished a system on the soyo board last night. Runs like a dream.
