Is anyone using a hp scanjet 6300C in linux?
It works but the scanquality is bad.
In windows i use hp precionscan pro
In gentoo linux i use Kooka from KDE

How does this come?
Are the linux drivers not that good? or kooka?

In precisionscan in windows i don't have to tweak any setting, i just push
scan and i have good quality.
