It's entirely possible to play PS1/PSX games on your PC. Make sure not to mention how to get ahold of PSX games though, I don't think the Mods will be to happy.
you cqan play ANY(apart from xbox360) console game on your pc using a emulator.
i have one for SNES and Sega(great for sonic) and i have a PS2 emulator the cool thing is you can enable things like AA and AF in the games and play them at the resolution you want. please note however it is illegal to use ROMS if you dont have the original and if you dont have the original you can only keep the game rom for 24 hours(although i dont kno how they enforce that).
in google just type
console emulator
replace console with a console of your choice, you can even play amiga and commador 64 games lol.
but i have read in so many places that you can use it for 24hours whether u own the game or not. and if u own the original then u can use the rom 4ever.
I thought coz u can use it 4 24hours to test if u like the game if your considering buying the proper game

Nope, if you don't own the game, then you can't download the ROM. Period.
yeah thats right it is illegal tp d/l roms that you dont own. thei used to host game boy roms when i had my website. and i got owned coz it wasnt allowed and the 24 hour rule was all bs.
anyways. irc is also a wealth of knowledge. irc.rizon.net is a good server.
There are a bunch (ive seen logitech) of controllers for PC that resemble incredibly to the PS one. Definetly a must have for heavy control games like DMC.
i go here for all my emulation needs:
http://www.rom-world.com/index.php i have yet to find ps2, xbox, or gc emulators that actually work well enough to be worth while.
