You got a replacement motherboard for that model laptop? You can't just stick any old ATX/Micro ATX motherboard in a laptop, it won't fit, and it doesn't have the same interface for connections. Have you tried Toshiba's webiste and technical support?
MB is from same Model! Tried Toshiba site/forum, only responses are take to auth. repair.
$'s for HD,MB,screen are 500 and up. Computer worth $00 max.
I have assembled several desktops, programmed........but would like pictures/instructions of how to disassemble laptop.
Its not very hard, I have rebuilt some old Toshibas for the piss of it, (replacing chipsets, lcd screens, etc..) There isnt much that you can get excepts the specs on the the laptop. But otherwise just have a good memory and organized knowledge of computer components, then you should be able to do it on your own, just go slow and save everything. And/or practice dissasembling an assembling on an old 486 laptop or something, it should give you good ecperience.

It seems that every time I reboot my wallet get smaller.
