When I try to download certain material, I get a message,
The Compressed (zipper) Folder is invalid or corrupted. Is
that on my part or the software? If it is on my computer,
how do I fix it. Thank You

It means that you got a "bad" download. If the file corrupted during the
transmission from the server to your system, you fix this by deleting the
downloaded file. Then try the download again in the hope that you get a
"good" download.

If the file is corrupt on the server you're downloading from, it will
continue to fail until the "bad" file is replaced on the server with a
"good" one. Contact the webmaster if you continue to have trouble with the
file.

There is one other possibility but it is not as common: The file was
originally zipped with a utility and with options that are not compatible
with the zip tool built in to XP. In this case, unzipping with a more
advanced zip program such as Winzip might work.
