Random folders refresh

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.newusers (More info?)

Hello to everybody.

System:
New notebook Toshiba A40 with Windows XP Home Edition + SP1 + all important
updates.
NOD32 antivirus
512M RAM

Problem:
when I delete/add some file/subfolder into a folder, the content of the
folder itself is not always updated (I've to give manually the update
command).
