I just built a Core 2 Duo system to host MS SBS 2003 so that I can do some development work and run VM Ware with some Linux security software.

I was hoping to do some light gaming, I installed Ghost Recon and it went through the installer process and the only error I saw was when the Physics driver needed to be installed it said something about not having the hardware but it would need to be installed anyway.

When I launch the game the splash screen comes up but then nothing - no error, nothing - and it never launches.

Anyone ever game on a Server OS?? Can it be done?

that's gonna be tough
make sure you have the newest vidcard drivers, if you can find one for 2003, otherwise it'll be running on software mode which is no good

also get the latest directx runtime library updated (this just came out last week)

there should be a redistribution version available too, search it up
