Hello,
After problems with HP Solution Center on my old printer, HP suggested I upgrade to a HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless. Guess what, no matter what I do, the HP Solution getsan error that the device is not connected. Otherwise the printer works fine. My OS is Windows 7, upgraded from Vista.

I noticed that there was no download for the HP Solution Center for my HP printer in Windows 7... just for older versions of windows. I only use the Solution Center for scaning. Now i use the windows fax and scan program that comes with Windows 7.

I wound up doing the same. Still you would think it would function.
