2142 problem(not glitches or spyware)

see, i had pre-ordered the game and it came yesterday. i pop it in there and install. i run it and for some reason, it never stop f-ing lagging, even in singleplayer. i have pretty good specs and i have comcast high speed internet

would anyone kno whats going on or have a solution(plz dont say to return/sell it)

Juts make sure you havent got any programs running in the background, even if they are small like windows messanger, it could still have issues running while certain others might.

lol, silly Jason....OK something my friend left out. Json has 2 7900 GT video cards, but they arent on the recommendation list for 2142, could that be the problem? (i noticed that his card isnt on bf2 recommendation list either...but it runs perfect)

Does he have 2GB's of memory, if not that is his problem. If you want to play games like Battle Field 2142 with out laggy graphics you need more than 1GB. Just for reference when running the game on my system it will use about 1300MB’s of physical memory alone, bringing the total usage for my system to about 1500MB’s.

Well then there is something defiantly wrong with his settings or system as I have a far slower system than yours and I can run the game without lag with everything max and the resolution set to 1680X1050…

You might want to get someone to trouble shoot the system, try running the system with only one GFX card enabled.

well he got it to work, he restarted his internet and it works better
