When sending or receiving pictures thru OE and using .jpg
format, they arrive as huge pix, bigger than the screen
and use up a lot of memory. Is there any way to make
them smaller?

Hi,

You would need to resize the pictures before attaching them. Outlook Express
does not support making changes to files attached for sending.
