I'm planning on buying a new motherboard in the next few weeks and I'm currently settled on the above-mentioned board. Are there any known incompatibilities with this board? Or, has it been known to cause any problems?

I was planning on getting a GA 7VRXP but I changed my mind after reading some horror stories on here.

I read on a few boards of people having problems with the above mentioned mobo and sound blaster audigy cards. However a solution was found ... being to install it in the bottom pci slot (don't ask me why). Apart from that it looks a pretty decent board - features and performance.

Could you perhaps link me to some of the boards you heard this on? I'd really like to get as much input as possible before I go through with my purchase.

I'd really appreciate it.

I have the board, and have very few problems. The only real problem I have is a power issue, but that is from my power supply, not the motherboard. Stable board, many features, good speed and overclocking.

Check out the review at <A HREF="http://www.hothardware.com/hh_files/Motherboards/soyo_kt333ultra.shtml" target="_new"> hothardware.com </A>. They pick up on a few other. They needed a 'soon to be available' bios update to get top notch performance out of it.

<A HREF="http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.html?i=1636&p=1" target="_new"> Anandtech </A> highlighted the audigy issue in their KT333 roundup

can't remember any of the boards where the issue was discussed but it was solved and confirmed by soyo tech support by changing the pci slot
