I just built up my first pc from scratch a few days ago. The mainboard is an Asus P4S533. Everything works perfect except for one annoying problem.
When I shut down via Windows, everything powers down except for an L.E.D light situated amongst the PCI slots. Also my infra-red mouse stays lit up as it also still has power which doesn't happen on my old shitbox gateway pc.
The power supply is ATX and I'm running Win 2000.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

If anyone has this same board could you let me know if the L.E.D is supposed to be on.

Thanks.

It's a feature. Click the left mouse button when the machine is off and you will get a surprise.

<i>It's always the one thing you never suspected.</i>

Thanks for the feedback guys.
I tried the left mouse click to no avail unfortunately. But maybe there's another way.

dont worry...that LED light is supposed to stay on...it just means that there is power running into your motherboard.

 <b>Who fixed <font color=red>ATI</font color=red>'s leaky faucet??</b>
