I had a date/calendar on my quick lauch bar until I ran add-aware program now it is gone can anyone suggest how I might get it back thanks Maz

Reinstall whatever program supplied it. It is not a program native to
Windows, and adaware evidentally found that is was associated with some spy
or ad program installed on the system.

Hi Maz,
If I read you right, see if the check box has become unchecked in "Show the
Time".

Start/Settings/Taskbar and Start Menu/Notification Area/Show the time.
This also will cause the day/date/month year to be displayed.
