I just got Oblivion today, and I want to know where I should place my specs at, so I can get it to look good, and have a stable FPS...

PC:
Intel Core Duo E6600
2 gig RAM
7950 GX2

wow, everyone took that guy seriously(joke)....

anyway my computer can max out BF2 and Fear @ resolution:1280x1024 on max graphics and still have a 40-50fps....

stats:
amd athlon 64 4000+ 2.46ghz 2000HT san diago
2gigs of kingston hyperx pc3200
400g HDD 7200rpm
sound blaster audigy 24bit 5.1
XFX Geforce 7800 GTX 256mb PCI-e (the higherend card)
ASUS A8N-SLI(with overclocking abilities to MOBO,CPU, RAM, and video card)

PS. nothing is overclocked. besides the factory video card

You should be fine, but Oblivion tends to favor the ATi Cards more often. There are some glitches in Oblivion with Nvid cards, but those might be fixed by now. You should be fine with Oblivion. It's actually a really good game too.
