Hi
Mycurrent mobo (FIC AD11) has died and so has my CPU (1.33 T-Bird), ok ok so it was my fault, I plugged in the mobo power connector with the psu connected to the mains and it switched it's self on, I haddent put the HSF on the CPU yet and it fried. The mobo died as well! I didn't know that frying your CPU can kill your mobo!
Anyway, I am looking for at new mobo and found the Abit KG7 or KG7-RAID which I like (price is a consideration, must be under £100) the look of.
Will this board work with Athlon XP? I have read the FAQs and it says yes, and all the latest BIOS downloads support it. Can I be sure that a supporting BIOS will come with this board. Are there any of you with one of these boards? The only reviews I've read are with T-Birds and not XPs.
Thanks
Steven Graham
