We see a lot of problems arising that some of you are running into that could be avoided with some serious research into the products you're considering spending your money on before you actually do. Just because you've run into a fantastic sales deal on the internet with a motherboard bundle or something similar be extremely careful not to fall into their sales traps of trying to clear out all of their old inventory. A good deal is not a good deal if the product you're buying brand new is already obsolete. Technology is changing so fast, that even if you buy the Top of the Line product today, by the time you get your machine up and running, something new has hit the market and your new machine is not Top of the Line anymore. Sites like this and a host of others are fantastic research sources that can save you a lot of grief in the future, so if you run across that fantastic sounding deal out there, make sure that in 2002 your not purchasing a motherboard that was manufactured 2 years ago, theres a lot thats changed in the last 2 years and you can believe it or not theres MBs out there waiting on an unsuspecting home even older than that. One of my best friends ran into that exact thing and purchased brand new a 2 year old MB, don't let that happen to you, most true performance Motherboards can't usually be found locally and must be ordered through the net. The newer products are more expensive when they first come on the market but they're the newest technology available and recently manufactured, and the prices drop in about three months because even newer technology has arrived. Lemons are out there by any of the manufacturers and its not the fact that you may get a lemon its how well did the problem get solved, so research what you're going to buy and who you buy from also.

You never know what you can do until you try.
