Computer buyer questions

I have been looking into building a computer for about a year now and have been unable to convince my significant other that I am capable of doing so. Since I am fighting a losing battle does anyone know some good computer companies who are qualified and trustworthy to build a custom computer? I pretty much know what I want but will take any input or advice on my selection. The computer needs to be dependable and stable. It will be used at home for office work, games and a little video editing.

P4 2.26/533bus or 2.4
Gigabyte GA-8IHXP board
Kingston 1066mhzECC 256k x2 memory
Enermax 420watt power
Maxtor/133 80gig or Western Digital 80JB 8mg mem
Leadtex Ge4 4400 Vid Card
Creative MP3 sound card
Coolermaster 110 case

The best price I have found so far is about $2000.

That should cover most of it. Again any help or advise is welcome. Another condition is good customer support and 3yr min. warranty from the builder(sig. other mandate).

damn, you should do more convincing. A self built version of that will be a lot less than 2 grand. You can do it, yes you can!
