Need some help / advice

I just bought a new gaming machine:
- Intel® Core 2 Duo Processor E6700 (4MB L2 Cache,2.66GHz,1066)
- 4 GB of RAM
- GeForce 7950 GX2 with 1GB of GDDR3 Memory

I downloaded the updated driver from nvidia.

Yet, when I run the Company of Heroes performance test, it rates my machinge as 'Average' and the game won't run well with everything at 'High' or above and turned on.

This can't be. Am I doing something wrong? Something not configured properly?

Not sure what you mean by 'Have you got any effects enabled driver side'. Can you help by expanding a little, please, on what I need to make sure is done?
