I am having problems to get my Mobo over to 133 FSB, My Bios is up to date, my memmory is at 133mhz, My Mobo is a MSI K7T Turbo, My Graphics card is an Elsa Erasor x2 With 32MB DDR Ram. My new CPU is an XP1800. The issue is that my system completly stops working when i remove the jumper for the 100 / 133 FSB, and when i put it back on my system starts well at 1150mhz. Please Help

Hey. I'm building a computer for the first time and I'm wondering are you suppose to switch the system bus jumper to 133 mhz when running an AXP 1800+? I am unsure so maybe someone can help me out too   .

I know that it is supposed to run at 133, but the problem is that i have to remove the jumper to get it at 133. What i is wondering is if my mainboard, ore my new CPU migth be faulty? I have never had a CPU that runs on 266mhz before, just a Duron 800 on my Mainboard. I can mention that i tryed to insert a T bird 1,33 Ghz, that dident work neither.

i dont think you're suppose to remove the jumper...i think you're just move it...but not remove it completely...unless the motherboard says so...

The jumper contains only of two pins, so i have only one option to remove it ore let it be. when i let it be i can only alter the FSB option in my bios up to 132mhz. Then the system stops working, and i have to clear CMOS by shorting it on my mainboard to get my system up again to 1150mhz

Isn't there any way to do this in BIOS without using the jumpers on the board.  You may also have to adjust the multiplier.

No the only way is to remove the jumper, my multiplier is set to 11,5. My voltage is set to 1,75v, and i can also mention that i have a 430W Enermax Whisper power supply, so that there is no doubth that i have plenty of power.
