hi all, im new to this forum, but the issue i have seems to be common, ive had css for well over 1 year and never had a problem with very low fps, but a month or so ago, i went to go online an i was fine for about 1min, then the fps went to 9!!! I have tried to update new drivers, formated the c: drive so a new install of xp is on there, i have added new autoexec.cfg done numerous things and still only get 9fps??? last night i tried to create my own server so it was just me and some BOTS and with me on my own i had decent fps, added 5 BOTs and they went to 9!!!

2.4Ghz celeron(i know not the best but has worked quite well)
512 ddr ram
40Gb game drive(hd)
nivida 5700ve 256ddr grphx card

the only thing i havent done is format all me drives and do a clean install of the game.

any hepl would be very nice:)

I'm running the game with a MSI - PCX 5300 (My 6800GT got fried).
I have 30/35 FPS on Dust2.

Try changing the Direct X level (Type -dxlevel 8 in console. More Here : http://forums.steampowered.com/for [...] p?t=471100 ).

sorted :D, dust on the cpu heatsink caused it :D
