VPN for Win 7 Starter

Hello,
I installed Nortel VPN Client 10.04.016, on a Netbook with Win 7 Starter. I am able to connect using a WiFi hotspot. But I can't connect using my wired DSL Modem (AT&T Siemens 4100). I don't get the banner and it times out saying 'user did not accept banner'. Any ideas?

did the wired modem work before? if so get a hold of Nortel support

Try opening port 1723.
