PS2 With a Wireless Network Can It Be Done?

Does anyone out there know if you can run the playstation 2 online wirelessly ??

If there is some compatible 3rd party hardware which you can use in place of the ps2 ethernet connection or some other means of doing it.

I used to just use ICS but after moving house my tv is half way on the other side of the house to my pc so I cant run a cable like that as the wifey would kill me!!

Anyone out there with any ideas drop a note in reply to this for me, I would appreciate it as I am losing my socom 3 trigger finger touch as we speak

actually I have been doing some research of my own in the past week or so and have found a couple of awesome solutions!!

even the people at best buy didnt know of this but linksys makes a wireless game adapter for PS2 and XBox amongst others which you can hook up to your console and then allows you to play wirelessly.

Its Wireless G at the moment but is supposedly decent no pre N devices it seemed unfortunately.

If you google Linksys wireless game adapter you will fine it. 79.99 US $ at Newegg which isnt bad and I think 89.99 at best buy

Needless to say the pleebs at the best buy store didnt even know it existed even though they had it in stock in the same store lmao.

But what are you gonna do, can't rely on minimum wage 17 year olds to have a clue about the job they work at I guess (Maybe a little harsh but i feel its deserved)

Hopefully if anyone else out there has been wanting to do this and not known how this post will prove helpful.
