Word Perfect 7 with XP?

I'm switching to XP and prefer Word Perfect 7 to the newer versions. It seems to install OK and look good on screen but will not let me save. I've tried both the 98 and 95 configurations. Is there any way to make this work? Or do I need to bite the bullet and move to a later version (which I have but don't like as well..)
Thanks..

Unfortunately, version 7 is not happy under XP.. I, like you, thought that
v7 was great, but it is time to move on.. one has to remember, maybe, the
first time that you encountered v7 wondering if you would ever get used to
its ways..

Good luck

I have used WP 9 with no problems, and now I have WP 11 which works
ok.
If you want to stick to WP 7 then remove XP, or upgrade to a new
version of WordPerfect.
