chk dsk utility

Ihad a message saying i had a corrupt file and
i had to run chk dsk utility can anyone tell me
how to do this?

To start Check Disk

1. Open My Computer, right-click a drive, and then click Properties.
2. On the Tools tab, under Error-checking, select click Check Now then you get a
diaglog box and check Automatically fix file system errors.

It will then run next time you reboot your computer.
