I just assembled the components listed below. After the first boot, I get 3 beeps, pause, 3 beeps etc. No video display. One source says the beep codes indicate problem with the first 64K memory ?? I've re-seated memory and video card. I swapped video and checked cables/connections.
I'm running out of ideas and would appreciate any advice...
Go online to your "BIOS" chip's maker's site & look for the bios & beep codes. It is the bios that tells the speaker what beeps to produce. Different mobos can have the same bios chips & same mobo came have different bios chips so, check with your mobo manuel on how to identify your bios chip & version. Good Luck
