I just purchased a MSI KT333 Ultra ASU, when I load up it starts an IDE scan and when its done it says "No Array is Defined". It says to shift+F to enter Fastbuild Utility and when I do it says "No Disk is found. Please check power and Data cable". Now this is confusing because it reads the Hard drive and cd rom now but it gives me this error. I am now able to access the windows XP installation disc, so should I just format and install now or should I try to fix this "No array" thing?

Is it normal when installing a new motherboard onto a computer that already has a hard drive loaded with windows to get a blue error screen?

do you have the hard drives plugged into the RAID controller IDE ports? Also, it's not advisable to put optical devices on the RAID controller. Keep the CD on IDE1 or IDE2

thats why it's saying "no array defined" and not finding drives. You 've got to be connected to IDE3 and IDE4 to use the RAID controller (in either RAID or IDE mode)
