how can I change SCOPE look and use it on multiplayer?

I don't want that "usual" crosshair, I want to use one from my M-76 sniper
rifle... It's not problem to make it in *.tga or some else format but where
to put it so I can use it?

Okay, I suppose you mean on resource.pff file or some other, but I can't
open them, I tried to rename it to zip and then open it but nothing...

which program do I need to open those files?

and if I try to host game online I'll be banned? Banned for good or what?
what's that considering cheating or something? Cause I don't login via
account, I use "skip user & password and go directly to games" what will
then happen?

What about some of these mods that I see on the DF web sites? Will there
be an issue if I install them and then try to login to NovaWorld?

I haven't tried any yet, but if there is going to be an issue with them
online, I sure hope there's an easy way to uninstall the mods.
