I just bought a ECS K7s5a LAN motherboard with a AMD Athlon XP 2000+, but when I boot my system, my CPU speed is 1250Mhz. What's going on? The CPU speed shuld be 1666 Mhz right?

sounds like you've got your FSB jumped to 100 instead of 133 (or BIOS setting, I forget which it is with that board)

i have the same board, you need to go into the bios and set the fsb to 133, that will fix it right up.

Before i put my ATHLON XP on prozac, it thought it was a PENTIUM 4
