How to play FEAR in 1280*1024

I was just about to post something about FEAR. I suppose you are referring to the expansion, right? The original FEAR supports all different screen formats once you install the patches. Before the patch you had to edit the config file. I'm not sure exactly where it is off the top of my head. Maybe somewhere in your my documents folder.

My problem is that the new FEAR expansion doesn't have built in support for widescreen or even HD resolution settings. You can also enable settings through editing a config file. It looks like crap compared to the first FEAR installment. I think the expansion was done by a different company. I'm a bit dissapointed.
