Asus notebook support

Hi,
I'm trying to make my first laptop purchase so any help would be greatly appreciated. The posts on this website have been very helpful. I've narrowed my decision down to the Asus z9 (pentium m, 1.5Ghz, 512mb RAM, 40 gig hardrive) and the Dell Inspiron 5160 (p4, 3.2ghz, 512 RAM, 40 gig hardrive). I am leaning more towards the Asus however I'm concerned about their laptop support. Because I live in Canada, and will be moving around for school, I was wondering how hard it would be to find a dealer with parts who can fix my computer after warranty. Asus doesn't seem to be that popular here. I've been reading how bad their phone and tech support is which is why I'm concerned. I was just wondering if the people with this laptop who've had them for a prolonged period of time have had any difficulty with them and if it would be hard to replace parts?
