Why is there no agp aperature options in this bios and also I see no memory ratio category either, Its an award bios.

I could not find a way to shut down ACPI either. ;(

Every working computer must be improved .... or replaced ...

Have you pressed "Ctrl+F1" key on the BIOS screen to enter Advanced BIOS setting menu? Also is your BIOS version the latest, ie F5?

Good call elzt, never new about that and it sure as hell isn't mentioned anywhere in there manual. However it hasnt solved my problem. I still cannot play anygames without a black screen. The screen goes black and the little green light on my monitor goes orange and i have to reset. I've tried everything I can think of except reinstalling the OS, and I really don't want to do that.

Thanks . I didn't know that either. One funny thing ... It appears that ACPI must be set before installing the OP or forget it.
