hey, im trying to do the above, I don't really know much about it though.

I've got this:
GFX Card: GeForce 6600
This thing: http://www.tweaknews.net/reviews/a [...] mg/a13.JPG

and a TFT monitor, I've read some places that I've got what I need to do it, but I've not got it to work yet, any help is much appreciated.

I used to do that on my laptop, but I had video jack inputs right on the side of the notebook, just plugged it in and ran the video software.

So I'd say yeah, you just need software to enable you to show a video input. I know ATI used to have this stuff for download on their site, not sure about nvidia.

I do have a game system plugged into a 2nd monitor, but it has composite inputs to make everything easier.

Ok, so what am I looking for? Software name or search for what on Nvidia site? Would ATI work>? and do you know if I have it all connected up in the right way?

*bump* can anyone answer my questions? Really stuck.

What monitor are you using? You may be able to hook it up directly if you've got multiple inputs.

Hardware like that (what is it, a USB device?) typically comes with software. Did yours not?

My monitor has a normal input, same as the one that goes into the back of the PC, it also had a audio input, and a power input, that's it.

The purple thing plugs into the S-Video on my GFX card, atleast I think it's S-Video.

Okay, so no software? Where'd you get the part?

Came with my ATI ALL-IN-WONDER GFX card that was with the computer, I have since upgraded that card to the one above.

I know I'm beating the horse here but if it came with an all-in-wonder where's the software?

Gave the card to my brother, I've still got the disc somewhere I think, uninstalled it though.

Okay, you should find it and see if it has what you're looking for. As Sugarcane said, that's all he needed.
