Hello folks,

I am a huge fan of adventure games, and my mother likes them even better than I do. I have played all 3 broken swords and all of the monkey island series. I loved both, specially broken sword series. We have been playing basically every adventure games we can get our hands on, and i wonder if you guys would have any suggestions to us. Thanks.

Well, if you really play everyone you can get your hands on, do you have any recommendations for us?

Have you tried the new Sam & Max?

The Longest Journey
Grim Fandango

Maybe more recently: Dreamfall & Fahrenheit (2 games)

Also, if you have a DS, then you should try Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Phoenix Wright 2: Justice For All comes out in a few months.

I'd also try out every game you can get to work with SCUMMVM if you love Monkey Island. =)

EDIT: Oh, & by the way, Vivendi recently released XP compatible (they're emulated through a custom DOSBox) collections of the 4 Sierra Adventure series.

King's Quest
Space Quest
Leisure Suit Larry
Police Quest

They're very historical, though I consider them inferior to the heyday of LucasArts games.

Thanks Gyro. I've tried playing grim fandango, but the game didn't like me (had all kinds of trouble with it, maybe it will work now). DS? Nintendo DS? Yes, I've played those sierra games, waiting to play the latest Leisure Suit Larry. I will give Dreamfall & Fahrenheit a try.
VBDude, I might when I get my computer running and I can find the games. Most I download from freeware sites, small stuff pretty easy to play. Have you played Black Dhalia (spelled like that?)? It's a great game, will surely get you involved in the story. I'll be back later when i have more time. =P
