Are the Intel duo cores really better then anything AMD has

I read an interesting article posted on another forum i visit and the results show that real in game performance there really isn't much difference between intel and AMD here is the link.

When comparing top end products there is rarely a major difference between the sides.

The main advantage that C2D has over AMD at the moment is Price/performance.

I never thought I would say it but Intel is beating AMD in price/performance in the market segment I find myself in. The midrange.

If you compare the Core2Duos with AMD processors that can keep up with them, the C2Ds are generally significantly cheaper.

And implementation of technology. If you want an AMD E6700 equivelent, buy a 4x4 for twice the price.
