help with fear combat :(

when fear combat first came out i downloaded it. but later i uninstalled it. recently i wanted to lpay it again. so i download it from one site then it takes forever to install. after it does i get this screen:

i've tried downlaoding it from two other sites and the same thing happens. that screen also comes up for stronghold 2, i've tried reinstalling it but it doesn't work.

i also have fully updated drivers for video card and DirectX9. does anyone haev any idea of what is happening?

My only guess would be too try defragmenting your hard drive. Other than that, I'm not quite sure what else to try.

hmmm...i tried Googling your problem, and alot of other people seem to have the same problem. One solution that worked for one guy was to uninstall it, close all other open windows, then defrag and clean out your registry with CCleaner (program). then try to reinstall it.
thats all ive got
