I set up two User Accounts, both Administrators. One works
perfectly and the other doesn't! The one that doesn't
comes up with the following message when I click on the
log in: "Windows cannot load the user's profile but has
logged you on with the default profile for the system.
DETAIL - The system has attempted to load or restore a
file into the registry, but the specified file is not in a
registry file format. Windows was unable to load the
registry. This is often caused by insufficient memory or
insufficient security rights. DETAIL - The system has
attempted to load or restore a file into the registry, but
the specified file is not in a registry file format. for
C:\Documents and Settings\Paul\Local Settings\Apllication
Data\Microsoft\Windows\\UsrCla ss.dat".

Also when I log out a box comes up headed "End Programme
C:\DebugLog.Log" but says "This programme is not
responding" with the "End Now" or "Cancel to return to
windows". I have to "End Now" to log off which takes a
long time.

Any help much appreciated.

Create a new profile and copy the data from old to new profile:

Once you are sure data is safe, you can safely delete the old profile.
