my plans are to get into case modifications. toward that end i decided to get a new mobo. i'm looking at the new soyo dragon SY-KT333 ultra (platinum edition). it looks great and by using it i can take just about my entire computer with it. my question is: how stable and reliable is it? i'm not into oveclocking. i play mainly rpg's and rts' (diablo 2 and warcraft 3 currently w/tron 2.0 next year)

current config:
epox 8kha+ (kt266a chipset)
amd 1600 xp (retail)
xtasy ti200
sb audigy x-gamer
pioneer 16x dvd
tdk cdr
256mb pc2100 ddr ram
w98 but plan on putting in windows 2000

i also may upgrade the proceesor to a 2100xp and buy a new heatsink/fan combo. suggestions for a good/cool looking one would be helpful.

thanks in advance

I have the almost the same motherboard, a Soyo Dragon Ultra (black edition). Very stable, reliable, fast, good for overclocking too. Your computer right now looks fine though, it's not worth upgrading really. If you're overclocking, go either Pentium4 NorthwoodB, or overclock your 1600+.
