i dont know what you guys love so much about that.... doesn't look like anything spectacular. and for the amount of drooling everyone over at these forums has been doing for this game, I was expecting the foliage he was walking through to at least move out of the way... or at least sway a little better when hes walking through it....

but i guess once youre brainwashed, it doesn['t matter what you see. i mean really, ohhh noes,, he was jumping and shooting!!!!!1111 and we got to see the HDR effects and lighting efffects... oh noesss.. Even counter strike source lighting effects/hdr effects are just as good on a high end system.

jan 5th, i was expecting to see alot better things.... But once again, we will be disapointed by a generic shooter, that allows you to be like the predator...!!!! wows.

Seriously. I wasn't that excited until I saw this gameplay vid. Sure the graphics were good in earlier vids/screenshots, but gameplay is more important, and this video made it look fun.

Foilage and lighting? That's all you have to complain about? I'd say that makes it a winner. The only important thing in that video was gameplay. As Predator-like games are actually very sparse, I don't think a game yet can be called "a generic shooter that allows you to be like the predator."

At least you agreed with the wows.

crysis looks like an updated far cry. ya its another shooter!!! wooooo and u get to jump around and have super strength.

ever play Coldfear (i think thats what its called)?. Same thing, you can juice up your circuits to give u different powers. That was also a good game.

I have to agree, although there is no doubt the game is gonig to rock but I think they chose the wrong portion of the game and could of shown a better scene. The the leaves didn't really move out of the way they just disappeared.

Uhh it's more like 6-7 months according to their latest interviews and stuff. The last thing i heard they said was " We will try to release this game in 2007" 8O

Do yourself a favor and get the HD version you wont regret it

They did not give a release date yet. Only speculations. The way they talk about the game and the way the game looks i don't think it will be too much longer before we will see it on shelves. Based on those CES footages the game looks pretty solid.
