Steam games crash need help

When i play CS:S the game freezes and when i close it an eroor pops up saying "Application failed to initialize properly (0x000012d)" please help

Here are a couple things you can try:

Try and delete the clientregistry.blob file from from the parent directory of steam. Make sure you have steam closed before doing this. After you’ve deleted the file start up steam and it should update.
