Weird Issue Speed Issue w/ Xtreme

Playing Delta Force Xtreme, and about 2/3 way through the first mission
of the game, the speed of the game went up by 5-8x. Running is too
fast, sound effects are too fast, etc. I have the most recent version,
1.065. I closed the game, went back into it, and it is still like
that, any suggestions?
