How Much Power Scotty? Tags: Motherboards Last response: July 31, 2002 4:51 AM in Motherboards Share TomV July 29, 2002 3:08:38 PM Looking at building a P4 system. Probably with a Antec Case. Either a 860 or 880. Do I need a 430w Power Supply, or is 330w enough? I will have 2 HD's, DVD, CD-R, Floppy, 3 Fans (?), ASUS P4B533E. I run 3 HD's( 2*RAID 0 ), a GeForce 3 Card, CD-Rom, CDR, Zip, Floppy, SB Live, etc. Also, 4 case fans for a total of 9 in Tower. Just get a really good PS, say a Enermax 330W with 2 Fans in it. Get one with plenty of air flow. Keep that tower cool. jankphil July 31, 2002 4:51:41 AM if your buyin a new case, i suggest going with cheiftec, antec gets their cases from cheiftec, so it's the same exact thing, just about 50 bucks cheaper.
