(my pc specs are in my sig below)
been frapping my ownage on fear lately but ive been noticing that the maximum frames ive been getting is 60, and i know something is wrong cuz my other buddies get like 200+ and they have worse rigs than me. Is there some option or something that can remove the 60 frames "limit" ?
ty..
i doubt its my rig.
i tried the v-sinc but still the same, i read on some other forum that i will still SEE 60 if i turn v-sync off but its actually more, but my freinds say that they actually SEE it say 100+ frames.
im running it on 1024*768 and minimum settings, so im sure my fps should be 100+.
k ive just been working with my freind found out its the freekin G5 logtiech laser mouse, i unplugged it and my frames went sky rocketting 200+ instantly, crazy stuff, guess i have to find a way around this now.....thx for the help anyways, peace!
Doom 3,Quake 4 and i think Fear uses a thing called fixedtic(regulates fps to 60)look in the base folder and find the cfg.file open with word and set it to 0
Doom 3,Quake 4 and Fear use a command called fixedtic(regulates fps to 60)servers set it to 1 so everyone is at 60 and even. but if server not running the tick(sometimes they turn it off)then you can explore to your base folder in the required games directory and pull up the cfg in word and scroll down till you see it and change it to 0.If your savvy with your cfg file then why dont just make an autoexec.

turn up the settings you 7800GTX can handle 1280*1024 with max settings(no soft shadows though) i think you probs CPU limited, keeping the settings that low.
