Eyefinity will lower the resolution on the 30" to match the 20", Also, you will need to have a monitor that supports/has a "Display Port" or else eyefinity wont work.

[citation][nom]alvine[/nom]im for the 3d but do you really need eyefinity for first person shooter?[/citation]
If you have ever served in the military or been in combat you wouldn't say that. A wider field of vision would be very valuable. More info = longer life

I'm very excited, been waiting for a proper BF release for PC since BF2 came out almost 5 years ago. Eyefinity looks a little distorted at the edges, but awesome that it's supported. Hope we'll be able to tweak the FOV a little (knowing DICE tho, probably not) ;)

[citation][nom]lifelesspoet[/nom]Sigh, why does it seem like all the games are either dx9 or dx11 when I have a dx10 card.[/citation]

Because DX10 didn't offer much of a reason to move from DX9. It's release also coincided with the release of Vista, which had pretty bad reception initially. DX11 is set to be a more true successor to DX9, however with the way it's being utilized in BF:BC2 I doubt you'll notice much difference while playing.

[citation][nom]tanuki505[/nom]Very cool! Will EyeInfinity work if you have 30" monitor in the middle with 2x20" monitors on the sides?[/citation]
If the 30" is 2560x1600, and the two 20" are 1600x1200, then yes. You'd just put the two 20" in portrait mode for (1200+2560+1200)x1600=7936000 pixels.
I don't know about direct eyefinity support for this setup, but people have done it with other solutions.

I had no intent of touching this game, but just maybe, I will now. =)

Dx 10.... Great.
Trees and rocks still look like crap.
I'm not saying the game is bad..... But i'm not impressed.
(not that the rocks in modern warfare 2 looked great)

[citation][nom]dman3k[/nom]The problem with eyefinity is that you would have to buy 3 identical monitors...[/citation]

Not true. You can use different panels. Also in upcoming catalyst 10.3 there will be Per Display Control feature.

The minimum requirements on this game are high! 2.0 ghz C2D and 7800GT. (most modern games are 3+ Ghz P4 and 6800GT).

The recommended are sick as well with Core2Quad and GTX 260/ATI 4870.

Anytime a game recommends a quad core and a GTX 260/ATI 4870, its gonna beast to run.

3d vision and eyefinity are both cool. Personally, I find myself using my Eyefinity rig (3 19in dells and 2.9 ghz C2D w/ati 5750) A LOT more than my 3d Vision rig (65" DLP TV and Q6600 w/ GTX 260 SLI). It just more fun!

Eyefinity really enhances FPS games. Having a wider field of view is a lot more useful than being able to see depth with 3d Vision in a FPS....

If only the game:
a) Looked Better
b) Registered hits properly

:(

I've been a fan of the BF franchise for a long time but must admit I have found this installment disappointing, I'm thinking they spent too much of their budget on the consoles for an awesome pc release.
