okay, I'm a PC man myself, and I'm considering getting the game Homeworld 2. I loved the demo, but I don't think i'd stay that interested without some real opposition (another acctuall person)
I've got a friend who's got the mac version of the game already, so my questions are thus

1.) can you play Homeworld 2 on a PC and a MAC while facing off against eachother over they're official server?

2.) can you do the same thing only over a LAN?

This wont make the decision for me to buy it or not, but it will contribute, thank you in advance

Well I can't see it making a difference if you connect to the server via mac or pc. I am sure they connect to the same server.

For example I know that when UT2004 was running Linux you could connect to the same servers as windows user as long as the version was the same.
