Anyone know why this won't work on a jetway (ugh!!) 867as mobo? via chipset - seems like it should, but it gives me a temp reading of 127degs - mmmm. doubt it!!!

Athon XP 1600 non oc
Jetway 867as mobo (lastest bios)
384MB SDRAM (133)
32MB GeForce 2

if it ain't broke, it ain't been tweaked enough

i think you are refering to the program Motherboard monitor 5 yes?

if so, you will have to go into the settings and manually configure the temp reading. go through all the available probes/sources until you find one that is showing realistic and logical temps.
most boards have 2 or 3...
one for the motherboard temp, one for the cpu temp and possibly a third for internal probe/ external diode.
