Are you having a slow week Rob? Why did you interview this guy? We already talked about Severity; we already talked about episodic content; and we don't care if he left Ritual. This was one boring read.

Got any thought provoking questions for us? If not, this thread's gonna die fast.

Edit: I'm feeling generous, so I've made a few for you:

1) When many sports haven't changed for centuries, why are we trying to establish gaming as a sport while constantly reinventing the wheel? Besides future proofing, why would we want to create brand new games every few years or so when we've already got several good ones?

2) What kind of killer-app would we need to make online distribution the default? Is it possible to change the market so people prefer not to buy the media at retail?

3) How can something like Xbox 360's Achievements lead to greater enjoyment of a product and improve longevity/replayability? Is it possible to appeal to both single-player gamers not connected to online services and multiplayer gamers who don't play the main story without handicapping one or the other? How about making achievements like "Complete game on Hard" or "Acquire 1,000 kills online" more desirable than tedious?

4) What can we as gamers do to help make independent developers and start-ups more successful entering the industry? What type of exposure are we looking for and how much are we willing to spend for something new?
