There seems to be apush among liberals to copy European policies.

I agree ... the rich don't need all that money.

They should be fined more bacause "according to the conservatives here" they are SMARTER and therfore should KNOW BETTER.

So a higher fine for them is therefore appropriate.

... with the exception of the likes of Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton ... and most of the rappers who sound like RZA but are illiterate.

I guess fines are a deterrent, so why not make the punishment effective.

I echo a comment on the bulletin board of the article. So, if the fine is based on income and I do not have a job, hence no income, does that mean I can speed and pay nothing?

Make sense to adjust fine according to how muck you earn. I wouldn't care about $300 fine for speeding if I am a millionaire.

My dad got one last year and it is still a painful memory for him.

The only problem with that is that according to the liberals here, we are stupid and, therefore, do not know better. :D
