Gigabyte GA-8iHXP Raid question

this board has built in raid, so i can use that to mirror the system partition (2 hd's), then buy a promise or 3ware escalade raid 5 pci card for the other partition (3 hd's)? do i have this right?

also, how do i hook up a tape drive to this board? all the 80gb tape drives ive seen are scsi....

If you want SCSI you need a SCSI card.
